• Key Responsibilities:

    1. Therapeutic Services:

      • Physical Therapy: Assess and treat guests with musculoskeletal issues, injuries, and physical impairments. Develop and implement customized therapy plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
      • Massage Therapy: Provide a range of massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy, tailored to individual guest needs.
      • Wellness Consultations: Offer advice on physical wellness, injury prevention, and overall health. Educate guests on exercises and techniques to support their therapeutic progress.

    2. Guest Interaction:

      • Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with guests to assess their needs, discuss treatment options, and set goals.
      • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer service, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally. Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times.

    3. Treatment Planning:

      • Assessment: Evaluate guests’ physical conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
      • Documentation: Keep accurate and detailed records of treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history. Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    4. Safety and Hygiene:

      • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment, following all health and safety regulations.
      • Equipment Care: Ensure that all therapeutic equipment and tools are properly sanitized and maintained.

    5. Team Collaboration:

      • Coordination: Work closely with other spa and wellness staff to deliver a seamless guest experience.
      • Training: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry trends and techniques.

    6. Administrative Duties:

      • Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings and ensure efficient use of time and resources.
      • Inventory: Monitor and manage inventory of therapy and massage supplies, reporting any needs or issues to the Spa Manager.

    7. Promotion and Sales:

      • Upselling: Promote additional spa services, products, and packages to guests to enhance their overall experience.
      • Feedback: Gather guest feedback and provide suggestions for improving service offerings.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Certified or licensed in physical therapy and/or massage therapy. Relevant certifications should be recognized by appropriate regulatory bodies.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury or high-end hospitality setting is preferred.
    • Skills: Excellent manual dexterity, strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, and the ability to provide personalized care. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
    • Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods.

    Working Conditions:

    • Environment: Work will be conducted in a spa or wellness facility aboard the cruise ship, which may include treatment rooms and relaxation areas.
    • Hours: Flexibility is required, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role may also involve handling back-to-back appointments.
