• Key Responsibilities:

    1. Beauty Treatments:

      • Facials: Perform various facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, masks, and moisturizers, tailored to guests’ skin types and needs.
      • Nail Care: Offer manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application. Provide additional services like gel or acrylic nails as needed.
      • Hair Removal: Provide hair removal services using techniques such as waxing, threading, or sugaring.

    2. Guest Interaction:

      • Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with guests to understand their beauty needs and preferences. Offer personalized recommendations based on skin type, nail condition, and desired outcomes.
      • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring guests are comfortable and satisfied with their treatments. Address any concerns or requests with professionalism and courtesy.

    3. Treatment Planning:

      • Assessment: Assess guests’ beauty needs and create customized treatment plans.
      • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of treatments, guest preferences, and any relevant notes. Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    4. Safety and Hygiene:

      • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment, including sterilizing tools and equipment between uses.
      • Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of beauty products and materials.

    5. Team Collaboration:

      • Coordination: Work effectively with other spa and wellness staff to ensure a seamless guest experience and support spa operations.
      • Training: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products.

    6. Administrative Duties:

      • Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings and ensure efficient use of time and resources.
      • Inventory: Monitor and manage inventory of beauty products and supplies, reporting any needs or issues to the Spa Manager.

    7. Promotion and Sales:

      • Upselling: Promote additional spa services, beauty products, and packages to guests to enhance their overall experience.
      • Feedback: Collect guest feedback to continually improve service quality and address any areas for improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Certified or licensed in beauty therapy, cosmetology, or a related field. Relevant certifications should be recognized by appropriate regulatory bodies.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a beauty or spa role within a luxury or high-end hospitality setting is preferred.
    • Skills: Expertise in a range of beauty treatments, excellent manual dexterity, and strong knowledge of beauty techniques and products. Effective communication and customer service skills are essential.
      Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods.

    Working Conditions:

    • Environment: Work will be conducted in the spa or beauty facility aboard the cruise ship, which may include treatment rooms, nail stations, and relaxation areas.
